OVER A BARREL. While gas pricing are rising around town at an alarming rate, I thought would mention that crude oil prices have fallen to a seven-week low today. This happened in the wake of a government report showing that inventories of crude oil are increasing and there is also a rise in gasoline stocks before summer gets here.

Specifically, the price of a May contract for U.S. light crude fell $1.46 an is now $50.40 a barrel. Think on these things next time you fill up your car.
