UPI reports that the U.S. and Russia modified the orbit of the changed the International Space Station to dodge debris created when the Chinese blew up one of their weather satellites with a ground based missile.

U.S. officials are tracking 525 large pieces of the satellite and have noted as many as 600 instances of satellite debris passing within three miles of various satellites.

If you were on the space station, that is something that could keep you up at night.
