Morris Chapman has a really nice post on the SBC, the BF&M and getting along with each other. I appreciate that he points out that the BF&M does not exclude Calvinism and specifically discusses election and perseverence. Read his post.

As I pointed out in an earlier post, if our convention leaders want us to reach people and restore the vitality of the denomination, the first order of the day is for the infighting to cease, for the leaders to quit trying to exclude people who are conservative believers, just not exactly the same as they are, and campaign for the gospel instead of control of the denomination.

Milton's devil said he would rather reign in hell than serve in heaven. Our denomination leaders must decide if they want to lead the 12 people who are left after their last pogram, or to lead the 16 million we have in unity and Christlike behavior.
Thanks Dr. Chapman.
