The Mad Dog is in trouble. Democrat leaders, including Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Rahm Emanuel are upset about Howard Dean’s management of the Democratic National Committee. Dean appears to have spent most of the committee’s cash, leaving little to support election efforts for the mid-term elections.

The DNC has just $5.5 million banked to spend in the elections. The Republican National Committee, in contrast, has $34 million.
