LOST IN SPACE

Adam Air, operating out of Indonesia, has lost a plane. The plane was only making a two hour flight. Representatives say it hit very bad weather. Aren't you supposed to check the weather before you leave? Don't you have a way to call them and say there is bad weather and you need to change your route?

Flying in Asia is always an adventure and one I would like to avoid, except where someone else offers the service. It's like rolling the dice to fly on many of these airlines. Last year, Adam Air had a plane lose its communications systems for 4 hours.

It may be because they don't have much practice. They've only been in operation since December 2003. We can only hope the plane landed safely somewhere.
