Have you ever heard of the "Tear Drop"? I had not, either, until just recently.

The Tear Drop is a sculpture given to the United States by Russia after the September 11, 2001 attacks.

It is situated across from the Statue of Liberty in New Jersey. The base contains the names of all the victims, similar to the Vietnam War Memorial.

It was a nice gesture from the Russians, especially since it seems we are often at odds over things.

The sculptor is Zurab Tesereteii.
