A new pay TV show will conduct a seance to reach and communicate with John Lennon, former Beatle. It will cost you $9.95 to find out what the peace-loving Beatle has to say. I, of course, do not care what Lennon has to say for $9.95 or any other price, including them paying me $9.95 to listen to it.

In Demand previously carried an unsuccessful attempt to contact Princess Diana. They still made about $8 million, thus proving how stupid people really are.

Some of Lennon's friends say this is a tasteless effort to profit from his violent death 25 years ago. Gee, you think? But then again, what else has Yoko Ono being doing for the last quarter century?

If you could reach Lennon, and I don't think you can, the only thing I think he would say is that the words to "Imagine" are wrong. There really is a hell.
