The Teacher Retirement System of Texas Board of Trustees is putting morality over money. The Board is divesting its portfolio of companies that receive ten percent or more of their income from pornography. You might be horrified to know retirement systems and others would invest in such companies, but they are profitable. The first guy to show some ethical responsibility was Conroe Caney Creek High School Principal Greg Poole, who imposed the ban this year. Way to go Greg and the rest of the board. I’m proud of you.
